About Me
February 4, 2010My name is Elin Miner and I have been golfing for only five years. I told myself when I was growing up that I would never waste a Sunday afternoon watching such a boring sport or spending hours hitting a little white ball into a hole hundreds of feet away. Boy, was I wrong!
Golf has been the best thing I’ve ever learned how to do. It has taught me how to become patient, relaxed, and how to focus on the task at hand. It all started when my Grandmother sold some of her land for a city golf course. In the contract it stated that her children and grandchildren would receive lifetime passes to golf any day of the week. That was enough motivation for me to pick up the sport. This is a picture of what my grandma’s land looks like now.
